Date: 2013-05-23 03:12 pm (UTC)1. I am a sucker for allusions, and I packed a bunch into this one, from Ford's ST novels The Final Reflection and How Much for Just the Planet to Dragaera to (of course) Portal, which was a last-minute addition and which is everyone's favorite (including mine).
2. I'm really pleased about the conceit of surprise parties as a quintessential Cardassian conspiracy. Because they kind of are!
3. Worf: the way he's so annoyed with Bashir during the whole fic, and is totally happy to attend the party without Bashir at the end. The last line still makes me laugh.
