I thought my not_primetime fic was going to be, you know, 1000-3000 words. Maybe 4000, pushing it.

Then I decided to go with the more complicated prompt, because without doing so I couldn't figure out how to make the simple prompt to work, and... 19k and counting (although nearly done). AUGH!

Heh. Now I'm feeling guilty about my poor writer, because my NPT letter was very slanted towards OUAT and I've certainly written more fics for that than any other fandom -- but it would not at all be accurate to say it's the fandom for which I most want fic! It just so happens that I have very strong Feelings about things I dislike about OUAT that need to be Fixed (and therefore needed to be spelled out in the letter) whereas for the other fandoms I listed I just want fic with those characters, period, and possibly i want it more because I can't myself write in this fandoms. So maybe something like that is going on with your recipient?

But I can also say, it's nice to try new things! :)
